This raised floor structure was probably used for sitting during the act of warming the body.
The floor is hypocausted - suspended floor with underfloor and wall heating installations. It is paved with processed stone slabs with a rectangular and square shape in the rectangular, and with bricks in the apse space.

The floor is paved with processed rectangular reddish and gray stone slabs placed in parallel rows along the entire length of the porch.
In the north-eastern part of the porch, stone stairs were discovered that led to the second floor of the residential complex of the Episcopal residence.

The winery in Bargala is currently the only one from the late antique period on the territory of the Republic of Macedonia. The basilica is located about 100 m north of the port of Principalis, it is basically a three-nave with semicircular apse on the east and a narthex on the west side. The floor of the basilica was luxuriously made in the opus sectile technique.
The episcopal basilica with dimensions: length 40 meters and width 20 meters is a standard type of early Christian church building.

The name of the town Bargala is found for the first time on a found inscription dating from 371, discovered in the locality Hanče in the area of the village Karbinci.
The city in the period from the III century was on the military camp - castrum, until the IV century when it passes from castrum to civitas, and it become the main episcopal seat along the river Bregalnica. It reached its greatest development in the second half of the 5th century when it was the period of the great reconstruction of Bargala. The city existed until the beginning of the 7th century, when the city of Bargala was burned and destroyed by Avar-Slavic attacks.
