The dromos was 2.2 - 2.4 meters wide, extending south to north. It was excavated in a length of 8 meters, but it is assumed that it was 20 meters long. The east wall of the dromos rested on the rock, while the west wall, which is preserved in a length of 11 meters, is 2.2 - 2.3 meters wide, and its outer face was also made of carved stone blocks.

The chamber has a rectangular shape with dimensions 7.25 x 5.05 meters. The blocks were carved only on the inside as the outside rested on the rock in which the tomb was dug into.
The entrance was with dimensions of 1.9 x 1.4 meters located on the south side is made of vertically placed blocks.
It is assumed that the roof of the tomb was made of wooden beams with a thickness of 25-30 cm placed horizontally next to each other in a north-south direction.

The ancient tomb is located south of the village Brazda, 14 km from the center of Skopje at the foot of the ancient settlement at the archaeological site Gradiste.


The tomb was dug into a rock to a depth of 4.2 meters, the face of the walls was built of finely made traventine blocks large up to 110 x 65 x 35 centimeters. The stone used to make the tomb blocks probably originated in the region of the village of Gorno Svilare, 23 km from the tomb.


According to the size of the tomb, the material used and the method of construction, it can undoubtedly be claimed that it is a ruler’s tomb.
