The rooms were paved with stone slabs and the windows were made of glass. The building had a courtyard with colonnades.

The acropolis of the ancient settlement is located on the southwest side of the site 100 meters above Kriva Reka.
Several residential, warehouse and administrative buildings were discovered on the acropolis, which were dug into the rock, as well as a cistern with a depth of 5 meters.
In the second quarter of the 6th century, a rampart was built whose uneven terrain dictated the three-part arrangement of the ramparts, which were demolished at the end of the 6th century when life in the acropolis began to fade.
The three-aisled basilica has dimensions of 15 x 33 meters, the apse has an internal corridor - cycleone and a semicircular structure in which there is a rectangular tomb or a crypt open to the corridor. The naves were separated with colonnades with parapet plates between the pillars, and the remains of a pulpit were found along the southern stylobate. The narthex is located in the western part of the basilica.
It was built in the 6th century, and the visible renovations and construction interventions testify that it was built on an older basilica.

The archeological site Golemo Gradište is located near the Kratovo and the village of Konjuh. It is known as a rare example of a city built in the late 5th - early 6th century AD, in the province of Dardania, in the Eastern Roman Empire. Spread on a high and elongated acropolis, a wide terrace at the northern foot of the acropolis enclosed by Kriva Reka, and a narrower area at the southern foot of the acropolis the city exemplifies the late phase of Roman urbanism, with a strong fortification and significant emphasis on church architecture. The plan of the city, fortresses and churches are at the same time an early stage in the development of European urbanism and religious heritage. It had its greatest economic and construction boom in the middle of the VI century during the reign of Emperor Justinian I.
