The church "St. Elijah" is located 3 km southeast of the village and has the role of the main temple of Grnčarski Monastery, and it is assumed that it originally bore the name "St. Nikola".

The church dedicated to the Old Testament prophet St. Elijah is a small one-nave building. The older church was built of stone, and during the reconstruction of the church, processed stones and bricks were used. The church is vaulted with a semicircular vault, the apse is three-sided, and the only entrance is on the west side. Buttresses have been placed on the north and south sides to stabilize the building.
Inside the church there are paintings from two periods. The older one was made during the construction of the temple, and based on the stylistic and iconographic analysis, the oldest frescoes from this church date back to the first half of the 13th century. A fragment of the composition "Assumption of the Virgin Mary" and "Transfiguration of Christ" is preserved from it.
The second phase of the fresco painting was made during the restoration of the church in the post-Byzantine period. It is interesting to note that on the southern wall, behind the iconostasis, St. Achilles, a saint whose cult was particularly characteristic and highly respected in the vicinity of Prespa. At this stage, most of the inscriptions are in the Old Slavic language, while the inscription above the composition "Daisys" mentions the priest Dimitar and his son Rajko as restorers of the church "St. Nikola".
